8331 Lektion 7

  1. Koreanska traditionella kläder: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qS2XCrcUGRE
  2. Koreanska BBQ 삼겹살: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqMFRyygSVo

8331 Lektion 6

We learned about the weather expressions in Korean.

On the below link, you can check the daily weather news in Korea and learn various vocabularies and expressions, regions regarding weather in Korean.

http://weather.naver.com/

숙제>  Write a diary with two conditions below (at least 10 sentences)

1. using weather expression

2. connecting sentences often > ex. : 어제는 춥고, 오늘은 비가 왔어요. 점심에는 햄버거를 먹고, 저녁에는 파스타를 먹었어요.

(Please upload your homework on blog or hand it over to me by paper when we meet next Tuesday.)

Thanks 리네아 씨 to sing a new Korean 애교 song.  애교 means cute behaviors or saying mostly from grown up-women to their closed men (nowadays many Korean men also do 애교 to their closed women.) in a childlike-way.  애교 can be a topic for an argument, analysis, or critics about Korean society which requires often women to do, however, it is true that many, even men behave in this way from their natural desire to do.

There are fun Youtube clips about Korean 애교. Please have a look when you have spare time and let’s freely talk about this.

  1. Examples of 애교 of Korean actresses or singers on TV.

2. An example of an opinion about Korean 애교 from a person from a different cultural background

8331 Lektion 5

Förra veckan har vi pratat om koreanska dialekt.
På Youtube klipp nedan kan ni höra människor tala Busan dialekt med Seoul-standard koreanska texter. Det är svårt även för mig att förstå när de pratat så fort. Episoden är från en framgångsrik Koreansk tv-dramaserie, som är berättelsen om gymnasiets skolminnen i slutet av 90-talet.

The first clip is a collection of how people in Busan say.

The second clip is the scene of a boy from Seoul who moved the school to Busan on the first day at the new school. He introduced himself in Seoul standard and Busan boys laugh at the way how Seoul people speak. It is fun to watch.

Go to the link and watch video clips no 10- no 16, if you have time watch them all, it is a whole episode which takes about an hour. And choose your favorite song. This is a variety show which Korean professional singers compete each other and get votes from the audience. This helps to improve your listening as well since it shows Korean texts when singing. Memorize some words that you want to get explained at the next class. Please enjoy!
