Information before Lesson 1
Welcome to the course! My name is Sarah and I will be the teacher for the English for the Hotel and Restaurant Industry course starting on Monday 16th March.
We start at 09.00, with a 15-minute break at around 10.25.
This is an upper-elementary A2+ level course. If you have studied English before at a higher level, this course is likely to be too easy for you.
Please install Zoom on your device and make sure you can log in and access our course. Before the lessons, check that your connection and equipment is working as it should, and please switch on your camera and microphone so that I know you are there!
This will be a fairly large class so we will use breakout rooms. Click here for instructions: How to use breakout rooms in Zoom
Please note that if you are unable to participate in any lesson (no camera and microphone), you will be marked as absent. If you would like to listen to the main lesson, that is ok, but I cannot put you into breakout rooms (grupprum) as it is confusing for the other students.
