Class 7:

What we did tonight:

– We discussed the difference between when we use the verb ‘to be’ and and when we use action verbs in relation to the past.
– We talked about how they differ when conjugating the past simple forms of both.
– We moved on to the pronunciation of ‘ed’ endings of past simple forms. We practiced this through a speed test, and a kinetic placement test.
– We ended the class with vocabulary relating to tourism and travel.
– And a discussion about what happened during their last holiday abroad (in the distant past, pre-Covid).

Homework:

– Do exercises on p 134 on ‘travel collocations’.

– Do all exercises on p 10 of the workbook.
