Today’s homework is as follows:
1. Grammar – “somebody and anybody” …use the “some and any” worksheet to help you.
2. Vocabulary – 12 words to do with money

Tomorrow after the break, we’ll be doing a kind of “end of course test” (but a fun one).

Thanks for today, and apologies if today’s class was slightly “low energy”. Tomorrow I’ll make sure you do a lot more talking together
Homework today is as follows:
1. Castaway exercise — please read the instructions and then choose 8 items from the list, based on the criteria on page 2 (make sure you know what you’re choosing ). Tomorrow we’ll have a group discussion.
2. Vocabulary + grammar = “have_come_go”. Please do the exercise
Tomorrow we’ll also be practicing the Present Perfect Simple (“What has just happened?” and “Have you ever?”)
Everything else is from class time. Unfortunately, I don’t have the key to the hot verbs exercise but I saw that somebody took a photo of it. Maybe they could send me the photo?

Many thanks for today. Tomorrow could please remind me to open the window once class has started? I understand now why we were all a bit sleepy today.
I’m sending the homework as early as possible so that Luana has time to finish it.
1. Word association. Find a word that connects the other 4 words. It’s not important to understand what all the words mean but to find the connection, if possible. I’ve filled in the first two answers for you.
2. Grammar “Will_going to_present continuous” (Future tenses). Using the work sheet “The Future tenses_explanation 1” to help you, choose the correct answers.
3. Body actions. Finish the exercise that we started in class and find the misiing words.

2. Writing = Either write a letter to a friend at home about your life in Sweden…or write a short article about your home country and city. Please write it in a Word document if you have the Word program and send it to me at this email address (or you can write it in an email).

Hello, hi, hej, hola, oi and an nyeong everybody,
It was very nice meeting you all today and I hope you enjoyed our first class. You’re certainly a very interesting group! We are a little bit mixed level-wise but I’m going to make sure you get a good course.
Anyway, please find attached the material and keys from our class today. I suggest you start an “English folder” in your computer, if you have one, where you can keep it. The topic tomorrow will be communication.
The homework today is:
1. The picture exercise about “gestures”. What do they mean in English? You should think of some other ways that people communicate.
