Lesson 7

In our seventh lesson we read an article about moon exploration, and then we spoke about the value of space exploration to humanity.

Lesson 6

In our sixth lesson we discussed ‘Historic moments in your lifetime’. We spoke about our earliest memories of historic moments, moments in history that affected us personally, and our earliest memories of personal computers and mobile phones.

 

Lesson 5

The topic of our fifth lesson was ‘The study of Biology and it’s importance to society.’ We spoke about why a basic biology education is important to us as individuals, and why the study of biology is important to wider society.

Lesson 4

The topic of our fourth lesson was ‘Advertising and its influence on us.’ We spoke about how advertising works, and the effects that we are conscious of. We also spoke about the growing prevalence of advertising in our lives.

Lesson 3

The topic of our third lesson was ‘What does living a good life mean to you?’ We discussed what we consider to be the most important aspects in our lives, and how our attitudes to what we consider a good life has change as we ghet older.

Lesson 2

The topic of our second lesson was ‘Privacy.’ We discussed the extent of surveillance in modern society, and also how much information we provide both knowingly and unknowingly when using the internet.

Lesson 1

The topic of our first lesson was ‘Animal Rights.’ We discussed how animals are used in different ways by humans, and how we view different species differently when considering their rights.
