    Hello B2 participants!

It was really nice to meet you all today and I’m glad you’re now checking our class webpage! Every week after class (or the next day) I will update this page with the classwork done and the homework given, as below:

    – Today in class we completed the class introduction.
    – We also began to use the coursebook: English File Student’s Book – Unit 4A Eco Guilt – 1. READING & SPEAKING (page 34)

    Hi Naill
Thank you for the answers .
Do you please explain a lite bite more about humid and damp ?
In swedish it is the same . Isnt it?
    Regards
    Bahman

    • thurni

      Hi Bahman!

‘Humid’ is used to refer to water vapor in the air. ‘Damp’ (as an adjective) is used to describe things as slightly wet. So you would describe a towel as damp, not humid.

      I hope this helps 🙂

You must have the wrong book? On page 35 of the workbook you should see some practise for the grammar we covered on Monday, as well as pronunciation and listening exercises. Perhaps you have the wrong edition? It should be ‘English File Upper-Intermediate Workbook with Key, third edition.’
