It\u2019s <strong>Wednesday<\/strong> \u201c<em>the<\/em>\u201d <strong>22nd<\/strong> \u201c<em>of<\/em>\u201d <strong>April<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Last Monday was the <strong>first<\/strong> lesson (= number 1)<br \/>\nLast Tuesday was the <strong>second<\/strong> lesson (= number 2)<br \/>\nLast Wednesday was the <strong>third<\/strong> lesson (=number 3)<br \/>\nMonday was the <strong>fourth<\/strong> lesson (lesson 4)<br \/>\nYesterday was the <strong>fifth<\/strong> lesson (lesson 5)<br \/>\nToday is the the <strong>sixth<\/strong> lesson (lesson 6)<br \/>\nTomorrow will be the <strong>seventh<\/strong> (lesson 7)<\/p>\n<p>What we did today:<br \/>\n&#8211; binomials (pairs) eg: in and outs, ups and downs, pro and cons<br \/>\n&#8211; vocabulary: food, ordering food and drink<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vocabulary Binomials ( pairs)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. We need to weigh up <strong>the pros and cons<\/strong> before making a decision.<br \/>\n2. I like to keep my room <strong>clean and tidy<\/strong> and organised.<br \/>\n3. You\u2019ll learn this skill through<strong> trial and error<\/strong>. (= try and make mistakes, then try again)<br \/>\n4. I\u2019ve got a few <strong>bits and pieces<\/strong> to finish before leaving.<br \/>\n5. The sofa shows a lot of <strong>wear and tear<\/strong> after years of use. scratches, stains etc<br \/>\n6. We\u2019ll just have to <strong>wait and see<\/strong> until the results come out. must &#8211; \u201chaff ta\u201d<br \/>\n7. The building must follow all <strong>rules and regulations<\/strong>. (fire regulations)<br \/>\n8. Don\u2019t worry, everyone arrived home <strong>safe and sound<\/strong> \u201c<em>ow<\/em>\u201d<br \/>\n9.
