Talk about why this photo is special and what the event was,<\/li>\n<li>Have you ever won anything?<\/li>\n<li>What are your favourite outdoor activities? Are these different at different times of the year?<\/li>\n<li>How do you get to work or school?<\/li>\n<li>Talk about a memorable boat journey.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>NK, \u00c5hl\u00e9ns etc =\u00a0 <strong>a department store<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Warehouse = storage\u00a0 The company stores its goods in their <strong>warehouse<\/strong> until they are ready to be shipped to customers.<\/p>\n<p>ICA = a supermarket<\/p>\n<p>I won a food mixer <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through\">for<\/span> a long time ago.<\/p>\n<p>I <strong>used to go<\/strong> to the gym at least twice a week but it closed down.\u00a0 = a past memory<\/p>\n<p>I <strong>usually go<\/strong> to the gym twice a week.<\/p>\n<p>Cross country skiing<\/p>\n<p>You need endurance and <strong><u>stam<\/u><\/strong><u>ina<\/u> for long-distance races.<\/p>\n<p>I love the <strong>misty<\/strong> mornings in the autumn<\/p>\n<p>I couldn\u2019t see anything because it was too <strong>foggy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The ships were sounding their <strong>foghorns<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After the winter, there were a lot of <strong>potholes<\/strong> on the roads.<\/p>\n<p>Answers to the &#8220;Weather&#8221; exercise<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Torrential rain x 2<\/li>\n<li>Deluge \u201cDEL.uge\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Drizzle<\/li>\n<li>Sleet<\/li>\n<li>A cold snap<\/li>\n<li>A biting wind<\/li>\n<li>Blizzard<\/li>\n<li>Scorching<\/li>\n<li>Heatwave<\/li>\n<li>sweltering\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cBritain swelters in the sunshine\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Gale-force winds<\/li>\n<li>Thunderstorm<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It might be cold outside, but it\u2019s usually very warm indoors as Swedish houses are very well <strong>insulated<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>I couldn\u2019t live in the countryside, it would be too <strong>isolated<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>BBC Six-Minute English<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What did you read or listen to?
