In our fourth lesson our topic was Movies, Books and other forms of entertainment.<\/p>\n
We discussed different genres, compared movie versions to book versions of the same story, and explained our favourite films and books and why they were our favourites. We also spoke about plays and musicals.<\/p>\n

In our third lesson we discussed major changes in society in our lifetimes. We discussed which changes had the most postive impact both generally and personally, as well as the which changes had the most negative impact.<\/p>\n

The topic for second lesson was Space Exploration. We discussed how interested we were in modern space missions, and the cost\/benefit they provide to society in general. We also discussed the future of space travel.<\/p>\n

The topic for our first lesson was ‘Is this news?’ We discussed the news media, and whether their reports are always actually newsworthy, or if they are sometimes use sensational reporting to boost sales or increase viewership.<\/p>\n
