Hello everyone, and welcome to the final blog entry for this course.
In our fifth lesson we did some exercises that tested our understanding of Relative Clauses. You were also given some exercises on this topic for homework.

Our topic of discussion today was shopping an consumer habits. If you would like to do some extra writing homework, you can email me a few paragraphs about your consumer habits. You can talk about how and why advertising affects you, and about your shopping habits generally.

Welcome back.
In our fourth lesson we did some exercises that tested our understanding of Conditionals. You were also given some exercises on this topic for homework.

Lesson 3
Hello again.
In our third lesson we tested how well we can use prepositions. I also gave you several sheets of preposition exercises and answers for you to read when you have some spare time.
Here is a good playlist with 7 videos which has a very comprehensive look at prepositions. The videos will play one after the other (you can skip to the end of a video to see the next video if you wish).
We also discussed a series of broad statements and hypothetical questions related to the topic of “Time Management and Daily Routines.”
For homework I gave you a vocabulary Definition exercise related to our discussion topic.
For optional writing homework, you can write a few paragraphs about your daily routine and the methods you use to manage your time effectively. You can also talk about how you think you could improve your time management. You can send your work directly in an email (NOT as an attachment) to steven.brown@folkuniversitetet.se and I will check it for you.

Welcome back to the blog.
In our second lesson we did some exercises that tested our understanding of indefinite articles (a/an), definite articles (the), and no articles.

For homework I gave you some article exercises to look at, and also a vocabulary Definition exercise to complete.

Lesson 1
Hello everyone,
It was nice to meet you all in our first lesson.
After we all introduced ourselves, we began working in pairs on an exercise sheet that focused on some common grammar mistakes made by students at this level.
